k: knit | p: purl | R: row | st(s): stitch(es)
pm: place marker | slm: slip marker
RS/WS: right-side / wrong-side facing
yo: yarn over, starting at front of work pass yarn over right-hand needle to back. When you reach the yo on next row, work as directed. This should create a hole.
Double yo: starting at front of work pass yarn over right-hand needle to back, repeat . When you reach the two ‘yos’ on next row, work as directed.
kfb: k into front and then back of st, creating 2sts out of one
k2tog: k two st as one
lp: loop, insert right-hand needle into st, bring working yarn over needle as if to k, then bring working yarn under left-hand thumb, then over left-hand thumb, between both needles, hold loop on thumb, insert right-hand needle into st and k, take st off left needle and pass 1st st on needle over 2nd st to secure, pull loop downward to fasten.

OH. MY. GOODNESS. is a crazy wrap, just glorious to drape around your body. Two hanks of hand-dyed yarn, one 4ply and one dk, are used to create the shawl. You start at the centre spine, increasing either side and at each edge. You’ll end up with a large triangle - there will be lots of garter stitch and loops. It is large and enveloping to swoosh around you for work or play.

I created my design company to challenge the misconception of ‘easy is dull’. What I create is simple in form, pleasing to knit and a delight to wear. The yarns I sell are luscious and the hand-made original shawl-pins are beautiful to look at, delicate and light, therefore a pleasure to wear.

YOU WILL NEED
1 x 100g WARM MOONSHINE (4ply, 400m/100g, 70% alpaca, 20% silk, 10% cashmere) and 1 x 100g LIGHT MOONSHINE (DK, 225m/100g, same content as WM)
4mm 60cm circular needle or long straight needles, 5mm double pointed needles for i-cord

FINISHED SIZE (when washed and hung-up to dry)
Length: 115cm, width: 215cm
GAUGE: Not important for this shawl

Pattern note: Being bold enough to work at a very loose gauge is beneficial. What may seem like over-cooked noodles on your needles will, after blocking, produce a light and airy fabric, good for trapping air and warmth without bulk.
