RS/WS: right-side / wrong-side facing
yo:  yarn  over,  starting  at  front  of  work pass yarn over right-hand needle to back. When you reach the yo on next row, work as directed. This should create a hole.
Double yo:  starting  at  front  of  work pass yarn over right-hand needle to back, repeat . When you reach the two ‘yos on next row, work as directed.
kfb: k into front and then back of st, creating 2sts out of one
k2tog: k two st as one
lp: loop, insert right-hand needle into st, bring working yarn over needle as if to k, then bring working yarn under left-hand thumb, then over left-hand thumb, between both needles, hold loop on thumb, insert right-hand needle into st and k, take st off left needle and pass 1st st on needle over 2nd st to secure, pull loop downward to fasten.
