ABBREVIATIONS
k: knit   |   p: purl   |   Rnd: round   |   st/sts:  stitch/stitches
pm / slm:  place marker / slip marker
k2tog: k2 sts together as one (decrease)
yo: starting at front of work pass yarn over needle to back. Effectively you have created one loop over needle. When you reach a yo on next row, work as directed. This should create a hole.
m1:  make one (increase one st from no sts), pick up running thread - the bar - between st on left-hand needle and right-hand needle and k in the usual way
wyif / wyib:  with yarn in front / back
sl1 / sl2 / sl3: slip one st / 2 sts / 3 sts onto left-hand needle, in order, without working
k1ULS: knit one under loose strand. Insert right-needle under loose strand and into next st knitwise (as if to knit) from front to back. Knit st in usual way then bring new st from under the strand. You will have knitted the loose strand and the st on the needle together. This technique pulls up the strand to form an upside down ‘peak’.

GAUGE: 24sts and 28 rows in stocking stitch per 10cm on 3mm needle

SIZE: finished measurements when washed and blocked: Width at widest point 65cm, Length 49cm
