QUARTER is a huge practical and statement shawl; to wrap, swoosh and swing around you. This design uses techniques that are familiar and safe, nothing too demanding.
Start at one point and end at the other, increase to the centre and decrease to the end, creating a large diamond.
What makes it so jazzy are the 4 yarn types (all 4ply) used to create wedges of undulating subtle colour and texture, finished off with one delicious large tassel.

If st before yo was a k st, bring yarn to front underneath needle. If st after yo is a p, then bring yarn forward under needle. When you reach this yo on next row, k or p it as directed. This should create a hole. Cable Cast-on Method: insert right needle into first and second st on left needle. Right needle should sit beneath left needle, and form a 'cross'. Wrap yarn around right needle once, clockwise. Scoop right needle backwards, towards you, through the gap between two sts. Keep the stitch on right needle. Transfer this st over to left needle. You should now have an extra st on your left needle. Repeat until you have required number of sts.
